And Still They Come - New errors in IPCC climate change report

The UK Telegraph has a report on further scandals associated with the beleagured IPCC. Reports on wave power have been found to be incorrect and references to Climate Change affecting US salmon have their source in greenie activist publications. What a mess!

  1. This is who the IPCC decree themselves as -

"The IPCC is a scientific body. It reviews and assesses the most recent scientific, technical and socio-economic information produced worldwide relevant to the understanding of climate change. It does not conduct any research nor does it monitor climate related data or parameters. Thousands of scientists from all over the world contribute to the work of the IPCC on a voluntary basis. Review is an essential part of the IPCC process, to ensure an objective and complete assessment of current information. Differing viewpoints existing within the scientific community are reflected in the IPCC reports."

With the spate of recent misinformation promulgated by the IPCC and now coming to hand on a daily basis it is quite easy to establish that not only does it not meet its charter it moves strongly in the opposite direction! Whatever their motivation it is quite simply time to either disband the IPCC or and perhaps more simply elect a whole new committee.
This may be too hard for a "do little" body like the United Nations but even they must realise just what a bad smell is coming from the current IPCC members and how that alone further taints the UN.
    Cheers

  2. It is about time the US pulled the plug on the UN - they pay the majority of the bill so a gaggle of free-loading non-democratic countries run by socialists or dictators or both can come to criticise the hell out of the US as the Great Satan - Gadaffi and Chavez being prime examples!
