Climate Change Investigator Resigns Day One of Inquiry

Philip Campbell stood down after it was disclosed he gave an interview in which he defended the conduct of researchers at University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit (CRU). Philip Campbell is the Editor-in- Chief of Nature Magazine and it is mind-blowing that he was chosen in the first place for an independent inquiry given the bias of the Nature editorial on Climategate. He has to take his brush and pail of whitewash and leave early.
I think anyone expecting an unbiased verdict will be greatly disappointed if the other members have similar views.
Update: Bishop Hill is on the job checking the other members and it is not looking good so far!
