Flannery warns of climate change apathy

Tim Flannery, Australia's chief doomsayer and failed prophet is at it again. In common with others of the Green persuasion Flannery thinks that those who disagree with him are stupid or not using their brain.
In a sideways swipe at those who disagree with Climate Change catastrophism he says:
The half-asleep look on a koala's face is a reminder that not all creatures use their brains in responding to the harsh reality of climate change.
Flannery goes on:
So in evolutionary terms the koala had to make a decision."

"Where does it put all its energy?
"Does it put it into the muscles in its body that it needs to climb the trees, and into growing claws that will help it to climb the trees, or its brain?"
The koala chose to sacrifice its brain, Mr Flannery explained.
Most Australians had not made the same decision, he joked

Given that a majority of people in Australia ,as in overseas countries, do not believe in man-made global warming as a major factor in climate, Flannery's not-so-subtle koala reference to their intelligence is insulting.
Also to suggest that in evolution terms the koala chose strength over a brain makes the reader understand why his predictions have been so woefully inaccurate.
