Combet - Walking on Water is next!

With Australia's reputation as the most gullible supporter of the global warming scam at stake having singlehandedly avoided a global temperature rise of .00007 degrees Centigrade by attacking Australia's economy Greg Combet's aspirations have now reached almost Biblical heights as he is now in the business of "climate-proofing" crops in Africa which is usually under the control of whichever deity you believe in , as any farmer will attest. This Climate Canute will also give money to" manage water resources" which given his party's hysterical  opposition to dams and it's Australian record, probably means taking away water rights from those greedy subsistence farmers damaging exotic fish habitats to feed their starving families. Of course being number one fool in the AGW asylum does not come cheap and the taxpayers of Australia will of course foot the bill with nowhere better to spend these millions.

Australia has fast tracked money to help African countries adapt to climate change, the federal government announced at climate talks in Durban.
Climate Change Minister Greg Combet is attending the United Nations climate summit in Durban, South Africa.
During his national statement on behalf of Australia, Mr Combet hailed the historic passing of the Gillard government's carbon price scheme and move towards emissions trading.
He told international leaders Australia's reforms includes new long-term target to cut emissions by 80 per cent by 2050.
"Our new laws will cut pollution, drive energy efficiency and ignite renewable energy opportunities," he told the summit on Wednesday.
"This means Australia will do as we say, we will meet the emission reduction targets we have pledged, and continue to reduce emissions over the long term."
Mr Combet announced $25 million towards helping African nations manage water resources, boost food security and climate-proof agriculture

  1. May I, as an Australian voter, publicly distance myself from this deluded politician, and his dictatorial government.
Every poll shows that the majority of Australians do not believe in man-made climate change- apparently only moronic politicians and bureaucrats are true believers.
Unfortunately we are stuck with them until the 2013 election, when they will be cast into the wilderness.

  2. Jamie could not have expressed my feelings any better.

Dullard and the rest of those narcissistic clowns including the loony Greens must go at the next election and not be given another chance to damage our country for one or two generations.

  3. Two points: 1. temps are not unusual (no h. stick), and 2. CO2 is not a cause of warming: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK_WyvfcJyg

There is not .007 of a degree, but NOTHING, to be "saved." Sure, CO2 is a theoretical warming agent, but evidence?

A good back & forth of comments between Fred & Baron & agw nonsense & I on this is here: www.ozclimatesense.com/2011/12/australia-shag-on-rock.html, where I maintain that there is no evidence at all that the TRACE GAS of CO2 is going to effect temp -- in any discernible way. Other factors, which have significant variation, as the sun oceans clouds et al overwhelm any minuscule effects of (trace gas) CO2.

I'm still looking for the evidence...

  4. We only need to look at Baron's CO2 vs Global Temperature graph to the right, to see that there's no evident connection between atmospheric CO2 concentration and average temperature. My thinking is that the calm rational climate experts like Michaels and Lindzen are correct: water vapour is by far the most significant greenhouse gas. Politicians can't tax it so they never mention it.
