Pussy increase caused by trace gas!

Another terrifying effect is added to the list of "bad" things caused by a minute change in temperature according to the RSPCA in Queensland  and that is a rash of  unwanted kittens . It is to be hoped that the carbon tax will be able to control  this moggie multiplication to a manageable level and civilisation as we know it will be saved.
However using a direct action policy involving procedures tomcats generally find quite upsetting would cost a lot less than half a trillion dollars.
Climate change is having another alarming effect - too many unwanted moggies.Cat breeding cycles are lengthening and could prove hairy for the RSPCA this summer as they coincide with the already busy festive season.
Animal refuge centres have reported a spike in kitten numbers in recent years with centres inundated state-wide.RSPCA Queensland spokesman Michael Beatty told AAP that cat breeding cycles now stretch from October through to May."Particularly around January we can get up to 300 to 400 kittens a week," Mr Beatty said.
The lengthened breeding cycles have been blamed on the effects of climate change creating ideal breeding conditions for longer.

  1. Following the recent cabinet reshuffling within our Federal Labor Government we are now featuring 'Pussies Galore' at the highest level from the Governor General down. This also saw Bill Shorten elevated the rank of Chief Tomcat at the expense of several older Tomcats who have now been well and truly neutered. It is rumored Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber has recently been commissioned to create a new musical aptly titled 'Cats & Rats - A Modern Day History of Australian Politics'.

  2. No doubt the RSPCA will be delighted at the pussy reduction in Sydney, which is going through its coldest start to summer since 1960 (http://tinyurl.com/7yuksbf)... yet more proof that Global Warming is really kicking in.

  3. Dang! You've done it again! First it was the birds getting smaller, now a surfeit of cats!

Seriously, though, you seem to be a climate sceptic (sorry if you are offended by that term, but I had always believed that ALL scientists were sceptics, however...). I, too, am looking for some positive proof that: (a) the climate is getting dangerously warmer; (b) that it is all the fault of the increase in CO2, and; (c) that the increase in CO2 is all the fault of humans.

Having been to various sites (of which here is but one example), I have yet to have the "pro-warmers" give a reasonable answer. Indeed, often it feels like I am challenging every tenet of a religious doctrine, producing quite rabid replies - follow CK here in his utter non-answers, and eventual rebuttal of what he was defending in the first place.
