Flannery the rainmaker

Tim Flannery
Rainmaker in Action

Tim Flannery's propaganda tour through NSW with his Climate Commission comrades warning of a climate-change related "drying trend" seems to have triggered huge rainfall and flooding in each of the towns where he delivered his apocalyptic message. Globally we have  witnessed the Gore effect where freezing weather follows the failed latter day prophet Al Gore and now we have our very own Flannery effect where the drought preaching professor brings flooding rains! Meanwhile the Climate Commission claims it is all the media's fault because they are confusing climate with weather and I assume floods are being confused with droughts as well by foolish journalists.

Every NSW town visited by Professor Tim Flannery or his Climate Commission colleagues for community forums where residents were told they were in a "drying trend" has been deluged by rain up to three times the annual average.
After being warned to expect drying conditions but more rain in winter than summer, Tamworthwas drenched last month with 121mm of summer rain in 24 hours - the highest fall on record.
Wollongong was warned it could experience such significant drying conditions that bushfires would be worse, and when rain came it would be in intense bursts.
The city was drenched in the past nine weeks with 661mm of rain, more than twice the 258mm average for the first three months of the year.

  1. But have you noticed that not a single word has been uttered by the media as Sydney's Warragamba dam overflows, drawing attention to the fact that Foolery's predictions have been 100% wrong?

  2. He gets paid heaps for being unaccountable and giving advice which is worse than useless. Yet the media treats him like a celebrity.
